The Town of Windham’s current Comprehensive Plan (also called a master plan) was last revised in 2002. A great deal has happened over the past 18 years, including an investment of over $65 million in upgraded infrastructure, which brings with it the potential to induce additional growth. An update to the comprehensive plan at this critical time in Windham’s history will help develop strategies to guide that future growth in in a positive and proactive way, while preserving those qualities that make the town unique and special.
Public engagement is key to a successful planning process, and we are looking forward to hosting a public forum when the timing is right. In the meantime, this web site was created as a way to keep you updated on our progress and provide a vehicle for input during this time of “social distancing.”
Over the next several months, we will be posting meeting minutes, and publishing a survey to seek feedback on your ideas and visions for the future of Windham. If you have any questions or information to share, feel free to reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
